Descriptif de la mission :
We have a great opportunity for a student to join an internship in the Chemistry team between Science an Sales. As a member of this team you will be armed with the Waters Instruments portfolio then tasked with developing sales leads into well qualified opportunities, and to deliver incremental after-market revenue. Effective customer relationship skills, commercial acumen and the ability to effectively negotiate and are crucial to succeeding in this role. This would be a great opportunity to develop commercial skills in a scientific environment, to get familiar with analytical solutions, and to evolve in a team.
•
Lead qualification for incoming Leads to develop new business and expanding existing business opportunities for the Field sales team;
•
Working with marketing to develop and deliver messaging to promote product offerings
•
Quote handling
•
Work closely with your field sales colleagues, business development and marketing to deliver a high degree of customer service.
Education:
o
Science related background and education would be beneficial
Experience:
o
Advantageous to have experience working in a laboratory with liquid chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry machines.
o
Commercially focused with previous experience in solution selling would be an advantage
Competencies:
o
English Language skills
o
Highly passionate individual with perseverance, and determination, plus the ability to work effectively in competitive sales situations.
o
Proven skills in remote sales, from establishing contact and building rapport, to managing complex sales with multiple stakeholders using remote means.
o
Customer focused with good level of active listening skills.
o
Exceptional organisational skills.
o
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
o
Solid team player with high degree of self-motivation
